Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop design system components using code-first best practices to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • •Collaborate with Design and Tech Leads to address large-scale design system challenges and contribute to technical/architectural decisions.
  • •Gather user needs and behaviors with UX specialists; participate in interviews, workshops, and user testing to inform component development.
  • •Implement and maintain design tokens, including modeling, management, and automation for scalability and multi-theme support.
  • •Translate design specifications and prototypes into robust, reusable code, and support documentation and adoption through the internal community.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 8 years’ experience, including 2–3 years in a Design System team.
  • •Strong UI development expertise with attention to accessibility, code quality, and design rigor.
  • •Advanced web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS (pre/post processors a plus), JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience building component libraries.
  • •Proficiency translating design assets from Figma into code (Penpot experience is a plus).
  • •Demonstrated experience implementing and developing accessible components meeting at least WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
