Act as the online advocate and activator for PostHog’s developer community. You’ll grow conversations across forum, Discord, and Reddit, identify superfans, and build a scalable “superfans” operating system while collaborating with the IRL Events team. This remote, full-time role emphasizes community building, public writing, and authentic engagement with engineers and developers.

Key Responsibilities

•Grow online conversations between users across forum, Discord, and Reddit, and seed and triage content to increase engagement
•Own and implement strategies to increase volume and quality of user conversations across surfaces
•Identify and empower superfans by building a scalable recognition and engagement system
•Collaborate with the IRL events team to bridge online communities with offline events and activities
•Avoid turning channels into customer support and model responsible community engagement

Key Requirements

•Track record of building or stewarding an online community where high-quality conversations happened across forums, Discord, Slack, or Reddit
•Active user of PostHog with credible technical conversations with users
•Active participant in developer communities beyond management
•Strong public writing and speaking skills
•Embodies PostHog values in day-to-day work
