Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, drive, and execute cost-out projects for electrical products (e.g., electrical wires, electronic systems, automotive products, EV/HEV battery systems, UPS, terminals, connectors) as part of the Direct Material Productivity (DMP) team.
  • •Collaborate with Global Procurement and product divisions to generate cost-out opportunities, VA projects, and execution strategies.
  • •Analyze commodity spend data and use data analytics and ideation principles to create new cost-out project opportunities and maintain a robust executable pipeline.
  • •Address supplier and internal customer queries and constraints, proposing suitable solutions that support process improvement, alternatives, and cost-out benefits.
  • •Use electrical component design and application expertise to develop design guidelines and test protocols, including duty cycle attribute considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with cost-out experience.
  • •3–6 years of relevant experience in electrical components and related products.
  • •Experience with electrical components, wires/electronic systems, automotive/EV/HEV battery systems, UPS, terminals, and connectors, including awareness of supplier qualifications for technical aspects.
  • •Ability to apply electrical design basics and product concepts to create new cost-out opportunities and support redesign/alternatives for customer requirements.
  • •Sound knowledge of application standards IEC/UL for a variety of electrical products.
