Key Responsibilities

  • •Scale and evolve the data infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency as data volume and complexity grow.
  • •Design, maintain, and orchestrate robust data pipelines ingesting from internal systems, APIs, and external tools.
  • •Support scalable data modeling by improving dbt project organization, factorizing dbt jobs, and ensuring quality and scalability of transformations.
  • •Implement monitoring, testing, and alerting for data freshness, reliability, and accuracy.
  • •Define and enforce data access control and governance, and ensure documentation and knowledge sharing across pipelines and workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of experience in data engineering (or similar), with demonstrated ownership building and/or scaling data infrastructure.
  • •Led the implementation or scaling of a modern data stack (e.g., Airflow, dbt, BigQuery/Snowflake, event streaming) in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • •Proficient in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in orchestration tools (Airflow or similar) and cloud environments (Snowflake, GCP, AWS).
  • •Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing principles, and performance optimization.
  • •Fluent English and able to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
