Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for platform and new product development.
  • •Aggregate overall hardware demand to enable accurate demand signals for rate and production planning.
  • •Act as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; run the RFX process and implement sourcing decisions based on evaluation results.
  • •Manage project budgets and forecasts, including aggressive cost management and development of should-cost models for competitive analysis.
  • •Drive process improvements and supplier cost-saving programs; maintain supplier partnerships and present value propositions to executives while ensuring prototype, ramp, and mass production support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management (or 9+ years in lieu of a degree).
  • •Technical procurement/planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components.
  • •Experience with printed circuit board and/or substrate fabrication.
  • •Experience with PCBAs, contract manufacturing, electronic component packaging, and/or managing a technical supply chain.
  • •Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL and PowerBI, with effective written/verbal communication to all levels.
