Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform polysomnography tests and record findings to support treatment plans.
  • •Conduct positive airway pressure titration studies and score polysomnographic studies.
  • •Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.
  • •Monitor ongoing quality assurance for polysomnographic competency of data acquisition.
  • •Maintain equipment, including setup and calibration of monitoring and related ancillary equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiology or Physiology from an accredited institution.
  • •Registration with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or an equivalent credential.
  • •Minimum two years current, post-registration experience in sleep studies in an acute-care/tertiary hospital.
  • •Verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • •Computer literacy (MS Office package) and comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
