Job Summary

A client-facing Resident Solutions Architect in Databricks’ Professional Services helps customers design and deploy big data and AI solutions using the Databricks platform. You’ll craft reference architectures, scope professional services, guide end-to-end implementations, and collaborate with engagement managers, engineers, and customer teams while traveling to sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build reference architectures and productionize customer use cases on the Databricks platform.
•Scope professional services work with input from the customer and engagement managers.
•Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications.
•Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects to enable adoption of Databricks.
•Collaborate with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure engagement components are delivered to meet customer needs.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics.
•Proficient in Python or Scala.
•Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
•Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
•Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments; working knowledge of MLOps.
