Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • •Perform day-to-day underwriting activities following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • •Monitor client risk management progress, claims history, and other information to determine coverage and premium rates.
  • •Scrutinize new submissions and analyze risk in line with underwriting guidelines to support underwriting decisions.
  • •Process new and renewal policy documents, terms and conditions, endorsement documents, and service requests accurately and within KPI delivery timelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a relevant university degree or a general insurance qualification.
  • •0–3 years of work experience in motor underwriting with responsibilities similar to the role.
  • •Technical knowledge handling motor retail and fleet underwriting and operations or related insurance lines.
  • •Strong analytical skills to assess new submissions and analyze risk against underwriting guidelines.
  • •Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and ensure accurate processing of policy documents and service requests.
