Job Summary

Support satellite operations for the Satellite Control Network Operations and Remote Site Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at Pituffik SB (Thule), Greenland. Configure, operate, and maintain mission-related systems during satellite support, testing, and maintenance; execute acquisition, tracking, and commanding operational events; maintain station equipment status, COMSEC duties, logs, and records; and assist with repairs, alignment, preventive maintenance inspections, and trainee on-the-job training as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure, operate, and maintain assigned systems during satellite support, test, and maintenance activities.
•Initiate, direct, and verify completion of operational events during acquisition, tracking, and commanding functions.
•Perform Senior Contract Representative (SCR) duties as required.
•Maintain cognizance of station equipment status and perform COMSEC duties as required.
•Prepare daily activity logs in electronic systems and perform required systems administration on mission-related equipment, including assisting with repairs, alignment, and preventive maintenance inspections.

Key Requirements

•Active SECRET security clearance, or higher.
•Must be a US Citizen.
•Minimum High School/GED.
•Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas.
•Must be familiar with operating electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, data analyzers) and able to read, write, and speak English.
