Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times to support installation testing.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex wiring harness work involving CAN network access.
  • •Troubleshoot issues, gather/analyze information, and travel to client sites and rental yards across the region as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools with strong attention to detail.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and/or mobile electronics installer experience.
  • •Ability to travel within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time and to pass a background check.
  • •Operate/drive and perform physical tasks (bend, squat, walk long distances, lift 25+ lb); may need to be clean shaven for some worksites and pass a 10-panel drug screen.
