Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the geotechnical team, projects, and area processes.
  • •Lead geotechnical project development for mine slopes, industrial slopes, waste dumps, drainage master plans, drainage systems, and dewatering in open pits.
  • •Technically manage designer-company contracts to ensure quality, safety, schedule, and financial control.
  • •Serve as a focal point for GRB (Geotechnical Review Board) and IQS (Independent Qualified Support), supporting deliverables, recommendations, and audits.
  • •Ensure integration across project and works teams through all phases while managing people performance, feedback, and development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, or related fields.
  • •Active CREA and eligibility to issue ART.
  • •Proven geotechnical experience applied to mining.
  • •Experience managing technical and multidisciplinary teams and geotechnical risk management, monitoring, and instrumentation.
  • •English advanced, advanced Office, and experience with technical audits, specialized consulting, and geotechnical governance forums.
