Key Responsibilities

  • •Own data-quality metrics including accuracy, consistency, rework rate, first-pass yield, and accept-rate, and report them to leadership.
  • •Publish a versioned acceptance standard and defect taxonomy so quality expectations are clearly defined across sites.
  • •Stand up the QA and audit system: review pipeline, audit process, and daily escalation workflow for floor and annotation issues.
  • •Close the feedback loop with operators quickly to change operator behavior within the same week and update guidelines based on edge cases.
  • •Engineer and standardize the end-to-end process by documenting repeatable workflows and translating model needs into acceptance criteria.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years leading data, quality, or operational teams in a serious operation, building quality/process rather than inheriting it.
  • •Metric-driven and analytical approach to diagnose quality issues from data and ship corrective actions using standard work, root-cause, and continuous improvement.
  • •Comfort creating a quality function and standing up acceptance standards where none existed.
  • •Maintain a quality-first bar while keeping operations moving (avoid becoming the bottleneck).
  • •Six Sigma (or equivalent) experience; plus SQL or Python and robotics or sensor-data fluency are strong assets.
