Job Summary

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs for packaging equipment including cup packagers, carton sealers, paper machinery, and thermoforming cup forming machines. Diagnose mechanical issues, dismantle and replace defective parts, complete accurate records and ordering paperwork, and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety rules. Read blueprints and technical diagrams, execute tool changeovers, and maintain good housekeeping to ensure reliable, safe operations.

•Perform preventive maintenance on paper machinery (PMC) and thermoforming cup forming machines.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repair of carton sealer and related conveying equipment.
•Document required maintenance records accurately and complete ordering and other necessary paperwork.
•Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety rules; read instructions/blueprints, perform tool changeovers, and maintain good housekeeping.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Vocational school in related subjects is desired, with demonstrated mechanical ability and 6+ months of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination).
•Ability to stand for long periods and use hands/fingers to handle tools and controls; strong hand-eye coordination and good handgrip strength.
•Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally; ability to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
•Experience working near moving mechanical parts and in high room temperatures/humidity; ability to work around fumes/airborne particles from cleaning fluids and oils.
