Job Summary

Guide customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB’s data platform. Work in Pre-Sales to translate complex requirements into technical architectures, deliver demos and proof of value, and support deal execution with sales. Partner with account teams to drive pipeline generation and customer success, while continuously improving solutions through field feedback and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect scalable, performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
•Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB, clearly communicating business value to stakeholders.
•Collaborate with sales teams on account success, owning technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
•Proactively generate demand in the sales territory through technical initiatives and participation in events and account-based marketing.
•Foster customer relationships and ensure customer success and satisfaction, continuously improving MongoDB solutions and processes.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role.
•Minimum 2 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#).
•Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
•Ability to review complex application architecture with customers and provide guidance on improvements using technology.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
