Key Responsibilities

•Partner closely with credit risk, legal & compliance, product managers and other engineers to advance the Lending capability
•Lead or contribute to projects from hypothesis to production capability, ensuring ownership of output quality
•Build financial primitives by acting as an IC or lead on atomic, composable, API-level building blocks for Block’s intelligence layer
•Design and build clean APIs with a developer-centric approach, optimizing for uptime, latency, regulatory compliance, and cost-per-transaction
•Share learnings and provide feedback to improve team capability and engineering practices
