Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake PAS128 compliant underground utility surveys in accordance with AECOM guidance.
  • •Capture and interpret GPR data both on and off site.
  • •Perform plant avoidance/borehole clearance and sewer line and level surveys.
  • •Supervise subcontracted work and manage site operations across the UK as part of a broader team.
  • •Provide safety briefings, complete safety/operational paperwork, and mentor/train more junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience undertaking buried utility surveys to PAS128 standards across different environments.
  • •Extensive knowledge of utility surveying equipment, including positioning tools (TPS/GNSS).
  • •Ability to lead buried utility survey projects and provide safety briefings and supporting paperwork.
  • •Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD products and ability to produce operational paperwork, data interpretation, and written reports.
  • •Relevant qualifications/cards including NVQ in Utility detection (QCF Lv3/5), NRSWA Operative/Supervisor, and a CSCS card; Driving License required.
