Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct site assessment and investigation activities including groundwater monitoring (purging and sampling), drilling, and soil sampling.
  • •Maintain organized field notes and collect/enter data while applying technical principles under supervision.
  • •Develop remediation strategies and help ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
  • •Lead and participate in safety activities, contribute to safety plans, and recognize hazards; oversee subcontractors as needed.
  • •Support project coordination through time management, calculations/equipment setup as needed, and maintaining proper project documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental-related discipline.
  • •Preferred: 2 years of experience in contaminated sites assessment and remediation.
  • •Geologist/Engineer-in-Training (GIT/EIT) or eligible (preferred).
  • •Understanding of soil and groundwater contamination processes.
  • •Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., BC CSR, AEPA/AER Regs, CCME guidelines) and ability to document and communicate effectively.
