Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve the site’s Environment, Health & Safety management systems.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant UK health & safety and environmental legislation.
  • •Conduct compliance audits, inspections, and workplace assessments; lead risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • •Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
  • •Manage environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and EHS training/induction processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience leading EHS across a manufacturing site.
  • •A primary degree in Science/Engineering with an OHS/Environmental/Sustainability qualification to Diploma level or higher.
  • •Experience with QHSE management systems and continuous improvement.
  • •Understanding of sustainability and ethical trading best practice.
  • •Experience managing customer relationships is essential.
