Key Responsibilities

  • •Own complex problems from incident onset to closure, communicating status via ticketing system, phone, and email
  • •Maintain and troubleshoot server operating systems and applications, including web servers and email services
  • •Configure and troubleshoot DNS, clustering, and storage/RAID within virtualized environments
  • •Develop and maintain OS images, backups, and server hardening procedures; manage Active Directory environments
  • •Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Architects on technical projects and document standards for the C3 team

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years in a computer-based technical field (preference for direct Service Provider experience)
  • •Computer related degree or certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCSE, MySQL, Oracle, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VCP, VCAP, PCNSE)
  • •Mastery of Systems Administration and ability to resolve a wide range of issues
  • •Experience with cloud technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and/or OpenStack
  • •Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell and knowledge of IIS, Apache, Nginx, DNS, and server hardening
