Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, rough-terrain vehicles) to move and handle vehicles, containers, and large materiel.
  • •Support equipment turn-in operations by transporting items between staging, inspection, and storage areas.
  • •Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers in compliance with Army and DOT securement standards.
  • •Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and report deficiencies, coordinating repairs per Army TMs and site procedures.
  • •Maintain operator logs, equipment inspection/usage records, update movement logs, and provide status updates to supervisors and the Transportation Coordinator.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a military or contractor environment (forklift/rough-terrain MHE).
  • •Ability to operate and perform PMCS on assigned equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes/rough-terrain vehicles) before, during, and after use.
  • •Knowledge of Army safety and supply regulations and ability to read and follow Army TMs and work orders.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
