Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing unit orientation and learning/development programs aligned with the hospital’s mission and goals.
  • •Act as a mentor and clinical resource at the unit level, providing formal and informal teaching sessions.
  • •Develop and implement competency-based assessment programs and maintain a computerized database for competency development plans and education attendance.
  • •Provide regular updates to the department manager and serve as an educational resource across assigned areas/units as required.
  • •Support hospital policies, infection control, pain management, wound care, safe handling/administration documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum three years full-time) or a nursing degree (minimum two years) with Registered Nurse registration.
  • •Minimum five years of clinical experience in a specific area of practice.
  • •Minimum two years of clinical teaching experience in a clinical environment.
  • •Valid license/registration to practice in home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • •Minimum Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and knowledge aligned with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) acute care standards.
