Key Responsibilities

  • •Reconcile, review, and approve Record to Report balances and manual journal adjustments.
  • •Prepare and review accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Manage assigned accounting processes end to end to meet deadlines, controls, and reporting requirements.
  • •Build trusted relationships with Group Finance, external auditors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and respond to queries.
  • •Support and guide direct reports through work reviews, regular feedback, and day-to-day coaching.

Key Requirements

  • •Studying towards or qualified in a recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • •Relevant accounting experience with practical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • •Confident working with complex financial information, large data sets, and advanced Excel models.
  • •Ability to understand wider business considerations, provide clear functional guidance, and build effective cross-team relationships.
  • •Experience with SAP, BPC, multicurrency accounting, retail/FMCG, or a shared services environment would be beneficial.
