Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex electrical engineering assignments and may direct other engineers and technical staff.
  • •Plan and execute work independently with latitude for unreviewed technical decisions.
  • •Act as technical authority for electrical systems and apply specialized electrical engineering knowledge to major projects and operational initiatives.
  • •Support electrical outages and maintenance, including testing and evaluation of switchgear, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, breakers, protective relays, UPS systems, generators, power cables, and system functionality.
  • •Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resource utilization while collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure compliance and drive improvements.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (or engineering technology with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license).
  • •Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry.

  • •Technical authority capability for electrical systems across assigned geographic areas and operating assets.
  • •Experience with power system and arc-flash studies, including protection setting application and related re-evaluations.
