Key Responsibilities

•Run daily restricted party screenings for existing and new customers and business partners, using compliance tools and reviewing results for red flags and sanctioned jurisdictions.
•Maintain meticulous documentation and accurate records of all screening findings and compliance activities, staying current on global trade laws and export controls.
•Manage legal eBilling and invoice processing in Brightflag, including outside counsel support, AP invoice submissions, and reconciliation of statements of accounts.
•Oversee the lifecycle of legal purchase orders and support monthly accrual submissions by coordinating with outside counsel, vendors, and Finance.
•Onboard legal vendors, maintain legal intranet/wiki/shared drives access, draft and disseminate the Legal Operations newsletter, and assist with legal team onboarding/offboarding.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
•2+ years of experience in corporate operations or administration management.
•Proficiency with Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) and knowledge of operational tools like Smartsheet.
•Experience learning compliance and legal operations platforms, with preference for Brightflag (eBilling) or restricted party screening tools (Dow Jones, Descartes Visual Compliance).
•Remarkable organizational skills and a sharp eye for accuracy when managing compliance records.
