Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely while installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining alternating current meters.
  • •Perform meter shop activities including operating test equipment, refurbishing meters, and supporting software interfaces and meter database operations.
  • •Wire up and install current, potential, and special metering jobs and test and repair power and demand meters.
  • •Perform distribution testing and investigate customers’ complaints regarding voltage fluctuations and high bills.
  • •Meet with customers and the public to discuss meter accuracy and energy usage information.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70.87 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Journeyman meterman card required.
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid driving medical card.
  • •Driver’s license required.
  • •Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA required.
