Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise and assign work to operations personnel during the day shift.
  • •Provide field leadership during high-risk evolutions, enforcing plant procedures, Conduct of Operations, and safety rules.
  • •Operate and oversee the 800 MW combined cycle facility and Balance of Plant systems, including ZLD, and manage plant operations during the assigned shift.
  • •Oversee Facility Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), direct startups/shutdowns and abnormal condition response, and maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and NERC requirements.
  • •Coordinate operations interface during outages and major maintenance; support training and mentoring toward CRO qualification and reinforce procedural adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5+ years of Control Room Operator (CRO) or supervisory experience.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of combined cycle plant operations (CTGs, STG, HRSG, Balance of Plant systems).
  • •Working knowledge of Siemens T3000 DCS.
  • •Strong understanding of LOTO, switching, and energy control procedures; ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • •Proficiency with CMMS systems (Maximo and SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office; ability to read and interpret P&IDs, logic diagrams, and electrical one-lines.
