Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and oversight of Archer's metrology program for the Midnight aircraft.
  • •Develop and deploy metrology tools to ensure design requirements are met.
  • •Establish aircraft inspection plans during testing in San Jose and Covington.
  • •Execute/oversee verification with risk-based inspection, design reviews, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
  • •Lead the implementation of laser trackers, Faro arms and other metrology equipment and train inspectors.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 185,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Calypso, Metrolog, Faro metrology programs with at least 10+ years of experience.
  • •Experience with complex geometries, model-based engineering and GD&T.
  • •Experience with CMMs, laser trackers, arm-based metrology equipment.
  • •Experience establishing quality oversight and standardizing inspection techniques.
  • •Experience working in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments and knowledge of AS9100/AS9103/AS9145/AS6500.
