Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end response to law enforcement and government requests for user data, from intake and validation through production and closeout
  • •Prepare and execute data productions, including scoping, retrieval, and coordination with counsel
  • •Handle foreign and cross-border process (MLATs, letters rogatory) and manage escalations across jurisdictions
  • •Maintain expertise on where user data lives across product surfaces and operate internal data retrieval tooling
  • •Run and improve the law enforcement response process and tooling, and coordinate with outside and in-house counsel on challenges and objections

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a legal operations, in-house legal paralegal, or business/operations manager role
  • •Front-line experience handling law enforcement or government requests for user data, including subpoenas, court orders, warrants, preservation letters, and emergency disclosure requests
  • •Working knowledge of the legal framework for law enforcement access to user data, including the Stored Communications Act and cross-border mechanisms like MLATs
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • •Strong judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and project management skills to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
