Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •At least 2 years of laboratory quality or product development work experience.
  • •Knowledge of product safety/design standards including UL/CSA 1995, UL508, UL508A, UL 60335-2-40, National Electric Code, ANSI Z21.47, ASHRAE 90.1, CE.
  • •Experience supporting product development and successful product certification.
  • •Ability to interpret and guide design and test requirements based on UL standards; strong communication skills.
