Job Summary

Embedded Software Engineer for Traffic Surveillance Systems within RTX Collins Aerospace. Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for CNS-based surveillance products (ADS-B, TCAS, Transponders), contribute to verification and certification activities, build automation and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with systems, hardware, and verification teams to deliver robust, high-performance aerospace software in a hybrid Bengaluru-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for Traffic Surveillance products.
•Develop common engineering tools and automation frameworks to support software development and verification activities.
•Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing for embedded avionics software.
•Support the development and verification of DAL-B compliant airborne software.
•Participate in requirements reviews, software design reviews, code inspections, and peer review activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
•4–9 years of embedded software development experience.
•Strong programming experience in C++ and Python.
•Experience developing software on VxWorks/Wind River operating systems.
•Experience with Git, Visual Studio, and software development tools.
