Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead the Amcor Quality Management System for the plant, guiding local management teams on standards, specifications, and documentation/data control.
  • •Design, implement, and direct the Quality Assurance program, including inspection, laboratory testing, auditing, process control, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • •Oversee validations of new product, equipment qualifications, and corrective/preventive actions for customer incidents (CINS), driving issues to resolution.
  • •Manage hold for inspection (HFI) procedures, analyze quality test results, and provide interpretation to production management to improve process capability and product acceptance.
  • •Supervise and develop the quality team, including employee selection, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •7-10 years of quality management experience, preferably in plastic packaging.
  • •Professional Accreditation in Quality Engineering and Systems required.
  • •Advanced mastery of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability, and Designed Experiment procedures.
  • •Strong knowledge of quality management systems, FSMA, HACCP, and GMP standards; experience with Quality Management Systems is preferred.
