Job Summary

Provide test engineering support to the production floor of the Hardware Integration Center (HWIC), troubleshooting complex array-level issues in the Near Field Range (NFR). Use schematics and drawings to diagnose RF faults, perform root-cause analysis, and analyze test data using MATLAB to ensure compliance to specifications. Coordinate with operations, quality, production control, maintenance/test, and union technicians, and develop/update factory test procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Support a fluid production environment in a test engineering role.
•Troubleshoot complex array level issues on the production floor and in the Near Field Range (NFR).
•Work from schematics and drawings to understand RF faults and troubleshoot using common test equipment.
•Perform root cause analysis on systemic array issues and flow findings back to feeder areas and/or suppliers.
•Analyze test data using MATLAB, review system-level test data for specification compliance, and develop/update factory test procedures.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 0-2 years’ prior relevant experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required, with U.S. citizenship required to be eligible.
•Demonstrated ability to interpret failing test data and navigate schematic diagrams to diagnose fault modes.
•Working knowledge of RF test equipment and the ability to troubleshoot using common test equipment.
•Experience preparing and executing factory test procedures.
