Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership for payroll operations across all business entities and locations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll administration.
  • •Establish governance, operational standards, controls, and service delivery expectations; own payroll performance, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • •Lead enterprise payroll transformation initiatives, including automation, standardization, process optimization, and future-state operating model design.
  • •Evaluate and optimize payroll technologies and integrations; partner with HRIS, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders; manage vendors and technology project implementations.
  • •Lead payroll teams (coach and develop leaders), provide executive-level reporting, and support payroll due diligence and integrations for mergers and acquisitions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • •10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience, including management of multi-state payroll operations.
  • •5+ years leading large-scale payroll teams, including payroll operations for complex, multi-entity or multi-state organizations.
  • •Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, payroll taxation, garnishments, and compliance requirements.
  • •Demonstrated success leading payroll transformation, technology implementations, process redesign, and/or operational improvements; CPP certification desired.
