Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, deploy, and operate back-end features that add customer value with a focus on reliability and performance
•Mentor and promote tech growth within teams and across engineering
•Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
•Maintain high standards for security, observability, and maintainability of services
•Stay up-to-date with new technologies and architectures and apply them where appropriate

Key Requirements

•7+ years of backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js/Python/Ruby/Rails (or other languages) focusing on security, scalability, availability, and performance
•Extensive experience with AWS in production environments, especially for high-volume/high-availability services
•Frontend experience is a plus, preferably with React
•Value code simplicity, quality, performance and maintainability; ability to design pragmatic, simple architectures at scale
•Strong communication and collaboration skills across product, design, and engineering teams
