Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide service ownership with a technical focus; manage DFL platform operations to ensure stability, performance and high availability of services on Kubernetes
  • •Operate and optimize services (Kafka, Apache Hop, Dremio, Iceberg, Application Hosting) on Kubernetes focusing on reliability
  • •Analyze and manage incidents, problems and changes; actively participate in incident resolution and root-cause analysis under ITIL framework
  • •Vendor management for run activities; monitor and coordinate with providers for platform operations
  • •Observability and performance optimization: develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerts and dashboards; support capacity, throughput/latency analysis and resource planning
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in computer science, information management, data engineering or equivalent; recent graduates welcome
  • •Basic understanding of platform operations and distributed systems, with interest in reliability, automation and standards
  • •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, resources, basic troubleshooting), Kafka or other event streaming, and data pipelines/ETL (Apache Hop or equivalent)
  • •Monitoring, logging and alerting using metrics, dashboards and alerting concepts; Linux/network basics; security fundamentals in operations (secrets, certificates, privileges)
  • •Strong teamwork and autonomous communication skills; ability to explain technical topics clearly in French and English; willingness to travel about 1 day per week to Gaggenau (Germany)
