Job Summary

Lead Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs for a Raytheon site in Tucson, partnering with business teams to ensure compliance and a safe workplace. Coordinate policy development, audits, and site inspections, and support safety programs such as contractor safety, confined spaces, LOTO, and training. Serve as a technical resource for Management of Change, conduct injury investigations with root-cause analysis, and deliver EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with business partners on EH&S concerns related to facilities and employee practices, and maintain compliance across RTX requirements.
•Organize and maintain EH&S policies, administer EH&S programs, and support safety programs such as contractor safety, confined spaces, Job Hazard Assessment, electrical safety, LOTO, and more.
•Serve as a technical resource for EH&S Management of Change through design reviews, interpreting and applying OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC, and other standards.
•Monitor EH&S program performance to ensure a safe workplace; conduct regular site inspections for compliance and support internal/external audits including ADOSH VPP.
•Conduct injury investigations with root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and lead health and safety projects and instructor-led training.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years).
•5+ years of applicable experience focused on safety.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing injury reduction programs and continuous improvement for safety programs.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external groups, including engineering and factory line employees.
