Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute regulatory controls testing according to the approved testing plan and methodology.
  • •Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls against regulatory requirements and internal standards, documenting evidence and working papers.
  • •Identify control weaknesses, enhancement opportunities, and emerging themes; produce testing reports and management information.
  • •Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Regulatory Controls Testing Framework, methodology, and supporting documentation.
  • •Support issue management, remediation monitoring/validation testing, and partner with stakeholders and control owners to facilitate testing activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience within Regulatory Compliance, Compliance Assurance, Monitoring & Testing, Risk, Audit, or a similar assurance function.
  • •Understanding of UK regulatory obligations applicable to financial services firms.
  • •Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • •Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • •Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards and a risk-based approach.
