Key Responsibilities

•Lead the NoSQL & Blob STaaS platform team and drive overall performance, reliability, and scalability of core storage services
•Define and execute a multi-year strategy balancing operational excellence with platform roadmap (APIs, abstractions, deprecations, migrations)
•Own reliability, availability, and performance, including incident response and RCAs, in collaboration with SRE, security, and compliance
•Drive deprecations and migrations from legacy storage patterns to modern, governed platform offerings
•Partner with Microsoft and Google for roadmap alignment, capacity planning, and joint incident management

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 178,900 - 262,825 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building large-scale, highly available distributed systems or data platforms
•5+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading backend, infrastructure, or platform teams
•Experience designing or operating NoSQL and/or blob storage systems (e.g., Cosmos DB, Cassandra, Firestore, DynamoDB, Azure Blob, GCS, S3)
•Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or Google Cloud), containers (Docker), and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
•Experience in at least one modern programming language (C#, Java, Go, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code and automation
