Job Summary

Senior Auditor within the Finance function at a global infrastructure firm, responsible for executing risk-based audits, leading workstreams, and delivering evidence-based findings. Key Responsibilities

•Audit Execution & Project Delivery: Execute assigned audits in accordance with the annual risk-based audit plan and ASG methodology; lead assigned audits or discrete audit workstreams; participate in audit planning, risk assessment, scope definition, and timing; perform audit testing to cover identified risks and controls; support IT-related testing under IT Audit guidance; obtain and analyze data from systems or via relevant teams; ensure timely completion of audit work to quality standards.
•Reporting & Issue Management: Draft clear, evidence-based audit findings with root cause analysis; assess adequacy of management action plans; contribute to audit reports and present results to management; escalate significant risks or disagreements in a timely manner.
•Advisory & Judgment: Provide advisory support on finance-related processes, controls, and system issues; apply professional skepticism to ensure conclusions are meaningful and aligned to risk.
•Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build relationships with senior management; participate in audit openings, status, and closing meetings; contribute to enterprise-wide ASG initiatives to improve audit processes.
•Coaching & Team Enablement: Provide informal coaching and on-the-job support to junior auditors; model audit quality and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•3–5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, public accounting, or risk assurance, typically gained post‑qualification.
•Qualified Chartered Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA), CPA, or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); other relevant certifications, such as CISA, are highly desirable.
•Experience with SOX compliance related to financial controls is required; exposure to IT SOX controls (including ITGCs, application controls), and project accounting is desirable.
•Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel (valid passport required).
