Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain energy regulatory strategy across priority U.S. markets (and emerging geographies as needed).
  • •Coordinate with Public Policy and Government Affairs on engagement plans, messaging, and regulatory priorities with utilities, commissions, grid operators, and policymakers.
  • •Translate project requirements into regulatory objectives, including pathways, tradeoffs, escalation points, and decision-ready analyses.
  • •Lead regulatory diligence and approvals for powered-land and energy-infrastructure opportunities, identifying tariffs, filing requirements, queue/interconnection constraints, and regulatory risks.
  • •Support and coordinate regulatory submissions, testimony, comments, and data requests across internal teams, outside counsel/consultants, utilities, and counterparties; monitor rate cases and policy changes affecting cost, schedule, reliability, and growth.

Salary: USD 225,000 - 285,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in energy regulation, utility strategy, power markets, energy transactions, infrastructure development, or a related role.
  • •Deep understanding of U.S. electric utility regulation, tariffs, public utility commission processes, and RTO/ISO structures.
  • •Experience supporting or leading regulatory work for large energy consumers, utilities, developers, data centers, generation, transmission, or other power-intensive infrastructure.
  • •Demonstrated ability to connect policy and regulatory strategy with transaction execution, project schedules, commercial terms, and operational requirements.
  • •Experience with utility service agreements, special contracts, interconnection agreements, PPAs, regulatory filings, or comparable energy-infrastructure transactions.
