Job Summary

Pre-sales solution architect for analytics, AI, big data and public cloud. Lead hands-on evaluation phases across the sales cycle, act as a technical advisor to the sales team, collaborate with product teams to meet customer requirements, and help customers achieve data-driven outcomes using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, with reporting to the Field Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical evaluation phase in hands-on environments across the sales process, acting as the technical advisor to the sales team.
•Collaborate with product teams to translate customer requirements into Databricks platform demonstrations and architectures.
•Create reference architectures, high-level implementation/migration plans, and demo applications to support customer engagements.
•Integrate customer architectures with Databricks and third-party applications to enable ecosystem deployment.
•Co-lead workshops, seminars, and meetups to engage the technical community and drive customer adoption.

Key Requirements

•External client-facing pre-sales or post-sales experience across multiple industries.
•Ability to articulate technical concepts using presentations or whiteboards.
•Experience designing and implementing architectures in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•Enterprise account experience.
•Fluent Japanese communication and business reading/writing in English; basic technical understanding of data or ML/AI, plus SQL coding skills.
