Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as liaison between the company and contract growers, providing technical advice on company expectations and best practices.
  • •Provide chick placement and catch/feed withdrawal times to growers.
  • •Monitor assigned flocks for bird comfort and equipment settings, and report non-compliance or abnormalities.
  • •Track, analyze, and record bird mortality rates, communicating anomalies as needed.
  • •Maintain feed tank inventories, order feed, coordinate deliveries, and support safety initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with required experience, or an Associate’s degree in Poultry Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of live poultry experience in a similar environment.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to animal welfare and food production.
  • •Strong computer and math skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, plus strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
