Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement mathematically-based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization models, and simulation tools for manufacturing and supply chain challenges.
•Collaborate with business units to identify root causes, define requirements, and implement technical solutions that improve efficiency and throughput.
•Develop, validate, and deploy optimization and simulation frameworks to optimize fab and assembly/test environments.
•Explore and apply OR methodologies to production loading, equipment optimization, and distribution network operations.
•Translate complex operational problems into actionable models and deliver measurable improvements in manufacturing performance.

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Science, or related technical discipline.
•2-7 years of experience in/with programming in C# and using optimization/constraint programming tools (e.g., ILOG CPLEX, Gurobi, Autosched).
•Experience with database systems (SQL Server and related technologies).
•Foundation in OR methodologies: Linear Programming, Integer Programming, and Constraint Programming.
•Preferred: 2+ years in semiconductor manufacturing processes and production scheduling; expertise in Discrete Event Simulation, Simulated Annealing, Meta-Heuristics, Evolutionary Algorithms.
