Provide strategic direction and visible technical leadership for the Development discipline to support growth aspirations for Scotland and nationally. Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic direction and highly visible technical leadership for the Development discipline.
•Coordinate across the Development discipline by sharing market intelligence, best practice, and innovation.
•Drive business development by embedding in local decision-maker networks, winning work from key accounts, and securing major opportunities.
•Lead and support bids, authorising submissions and demonstrating added value commercially and technically.
•Act as Project Manager or Director for major projects and ensure compliance with H&S / Corporate Responsibility and SHEQ; mentor colleagues on succession and emerging talent schedules.
