Key Responsibilities

•Design and build highly available, robust distributed backend systems and translate product requirements into technical specifications.
•Improve KYC flows to provide the best onboarding experience and create scalable verification methods.
•Design and implement onboarding initiatives that adapt to regional needs and participate in product roadmapping with the product management team.
•Own a technical roadmap to ensure the application is maintained to high standards and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
•Collaborate with other teams, lead projects from inception to release, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 87,500 - 111,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Java or another JVM language with Spring framework experience and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and distributed and concurrent systems
•Experience with machine learning basics (data pipelines, feature engineering, recall/precision; production ML systems is a plus)
•Strong product mindset with focus on user experience and data-driven decisions
•Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership and collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, and engineers
