Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative hard science.
  • •1-3 years of energy industry experience applying modeling techniques to business applications.
  • •Strong understanding of ERCOT market fundamentals; familiarity with PJM markets preferred.
  • •Hands-on experience with load forecasting, price forecasting, market analytics, risk management, and supply portfolio optimization for retail and/or wholesale power.
  • •Proficiency with programming and analytics tools, including Python and SQL, plus visualization tools like Plotly and PowerBI.
