Job Summary

Work with the account sales team and channel partners in the UK to solve complex customer data problems and help prospects evaluate Snowflake. Present Snowflake’s technology to executives and technical teams, deliver hands-on demos through proof of concept and implementation, and build technical champions to drive wins. Stay current on Snowflake roadmap and competitive technologies, collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing while representing the company at events and working with partners on joint architectures.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
•Deliver hands-on demonstrations throughout the sales cycle from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
•Create and develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
•Confidently present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality while staying positioned against competitive and complementary technologies.
•Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, and work with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies.

Key Requirements

•Solution engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience (analytics, data science, data engineering).
•Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, using demos and presentations.
•Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
•Hands-on experience with SQL.
•Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and communicate Snowflake’s vision in written and verbal formats.
