Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with setup and tear-down of rigging, trussing, automation systems, stunt equipment, and related gear while directing local crews.
  • •Repair and maintain rigging equipment and hardware following supervisor direction and Best Practice Safety Standards.
  • •Ensure safety and security of rigging equipment and systems (e.g., chain hoist motors, truss, ground support, winch lines, stunt equipment, fall protection).
  • •Follow performance cues to maintain production quality aligned with the artistic concept and creative vision.
  • •Follow Best Practice Guidelines and local regulations for the Marvel Universe Live Production; comply with safety and security procedures and support efficiency improvements.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or higher in Technical Theatre and/or 6+ years of real-world rigging experience in arena, movie, or theatre touring industries.
  • •Ability to climb and work at heights in excess of 55 ft before, during, and after performance and during rigging calls, load-in, and load-out.
  • •Experience with arena/movie/theatre rigging, purchase systems, and ground support trussing.
  • •Highly skilled in chain motor hoist and stunt equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • •Knowledge of rope and aircraft cable splicing, Nicropress skills, and ability to operate stationary and drum winch motors and automation systems.
