Job Summary

Design, develop, and manage Workday’s DBaaS service, including architecting database infrastructure to deliver high availability and scalable performance. Salary: USD 137,000 - 205,400 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years designing, developing, automating, and managing mission-critical production workloads on MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud-native databases.
•3+ years backend development using modern programming languages (Golang, Python, Java), including architecture, design, and development.
•2+ years hands-on experience with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Microsoft Azure).
•Minimum 2+ years managing clustered, highly available database services deployed on different Linux environments.
•Minimum 3+ years experience in modern DevOps and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), service deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
