Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, review, and optimize instrumentation and control systems, including instrumentation specifications, control philosophies, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and cable schedules.
  • •Select and evaluate field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments) and control valves, and review vendor documentation for compliance.
  • •Supervise installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning activities (loop checking, functional testing, cause-and-effect verification) safely and per approved procedures.
  • •Monitor instrumentation and automation system performance, troubleshoot failures to minimize downtime, and develop preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance strategies.
  • •Ensure HSE and compliance requirements are met, participate in HAZOP/SIL and audits, and prepare/maintain accurate engineering and commissioning documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •3–7 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering across power generation, renewable energy, water desalination, oil & gas, industrial plants, or large infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
  • •Familiarity with control platforms including Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, or Rockwell Automation.
  • •Experience interpreting P&IDs/loop drawings and performing commissioning/maintenance activities is preferred.
